Ariana Grande's Opening Video :) |
I've known Ariana Grande since 2006. The first song I've ever heard he sing was "Vienna" by Billy Joel. I've always loved her version of Vienna. Then, her cover "Emotions" was posted on Youtube. Next thing I knew, she was already on Nickelodeon's TV Show "Victorious". Now, she's a dynamic superstar performer.
Rap and I rushed to buy my ticket. I think I was destined to meet her because the sales lady told me that I purchased the last ticket from the upper box section. I was relieved by the sales lady's statement because I knew I will not be able to purchase a more expensive ticket. I'm also grateful for my parents for supporting me on this. My dad dropped us off at the Mall of Asia Arena where we hundreds of teenagers lined up for the show.
There were vendors who sold Ariana Grande's famous ears for Php 500.00. We saw girls dressed like Ariana Grande. Rap didn't came with me at the concert because he wasn't an Ariana Grande fan. Instead, I bought him a movie ticket to watch the new Mission Impossible. He was really kind to support me. :) I am so blessed!
Ariana Grande's Opening Performance: Bang Bang |
Tom Taus opened the concert with his killer DJ skills. Around 8:30pm, the fans were already screaming and shouting Ariana's name. Ariana didn't disappoint her fans as she started the concert with a BANG! She sang one of her famous songs "Bang-Bang" which also featured Jessie J and Nicki Minaj. She the followed her first song with songs from her "My Everything" album. She also did something special for her Filipino fans by offering a tribute to the one and only Whitney Houston by singing "I Have Nothing".
I especially loved her performance of Best Mistake and Tattooed Heart. One of the reasons why I love Ariana Grande's concert so much is because she is one of those rare performers who sounds so much better during live performances than their recording tracks. Wait! She was even more than amazing! SHE WAS THE BOMB!!! :D
She changed her outfit at least 3 times. She was really pretty! I loved her energy. She was dancing in a 4-inch heel, which was very difficult to do, but it never reflected on her face. She really showed passion and love for the art that she's doing.
Ariana loves her screaming fans! |
