A Guide To Traveling To Alibijaban Island (Itinerary & Tips)

ALIBIJABAN ISLAND will always be one of our favorite places in the Philippines. During the Holy Week break, together with our friends, we visited the beautiful island of Alibijaban. Honestly, we've never heard of this island before but, after searching it on google, we immediately fell in love with its mysterious and appealing beauty. The simplicity of this island made us want to live there. This island will encourage you to embrace its way of life.

Why Young Married Couples Should Travel Often

We love to travel and we would love to do it as often as we can. Traveling gives us the opportunity to relax, enjoy, and get to know each other. When we got married almost four years ago, we didn't really thought about the places we wanted to see or visit. We were more concerned with saving money for our future needs and current bills to pay. As the years passed by, the need to travel increased as we both needed that T-I-M-E O-U-T!

Cebu, Philippines 2015 Trip Day 1

Our Cebu trip was short but sweeeet! <3 Rap and I surprised my dad with a trip to Cebu for his 50th birthday. We purchased the tickets 3 months before our actual travel date. Well, things didn't go the way we have planned it because we were late for our flight. &!!!^&&(((@@@ Traffic! Anyway, we had our flights re-booked. We made it to Cebu! We stayed at the Cebu Philippines Temple Patron Housing for our first night.

We visited the Cebu Philippines Temple to start our first epic day in Cebu. It was actually our first time to visit the temple in Cebu and the beauty and magnificence of the temple filled our hearts with so much joy and love. What better way to start our birthday celebration than to visit the House of the Lord. We met some church members from Davao Mission who knew my brother, Elder Renz Coronel. It was nice to hear such kind words about our dear Elder Coronel.

After our Cebu Temple visit, we went straight to Marco Polo Cebu Hotel. The Marco Polo workers were so lovely and accommodating. Special thanks to our wonderful Tita Neneng Osumo who made sure that we get a lovely and cozy room.

After settling in our room, we went to find Rico's Lechon Cebu because they all said we can find the best lechon cebu there. Annnnnnnnd....They were all right! We ordered the regular and spicy lechon cebu. The lechon was very tasty and was cooked perfectly. The spicy lechon cebu brought the house down because of its rich spicy flavor. We didn't miss a single bite of the lechon plates we ordered. I actually wanted mooooore but my tummy needed a rest.

If you're planning on visiting Cebu and tasting the lechon, don't forget to drop by Rico's Lechon in Acacia. You won't regret it. You'll even want more.

Camp John Hay, Baguio City 2015

As a family tradition, Baguio will always be our hotspot when summer hits the Philippines. The Summer Capital of the Philippines is the "go to" place of almost everyone who lives in Luzon. The cold climate of the city relieves the heat brought by the tropical weather. During our visit with Rap's family last summer, we only had one day to visit Baguio and we decided to stay at Camp John Hay since it caters to activities such as paintball fight, zip lining, family picnic, camping and so much more.

Vigan, Ilocos Sur (7 Wonder Cities of the World)

One of my favorite places to visit is Vigan City. This city was named one of the seven wonder cities of the world. The structure of this city will remind you of the rich history and culture of the northern part of the Philippines. The early settlers in the city of Vigan are traders from Fujian, China. Before it was called Vigan, the city was originally called Bee Gan by the Chinese people which means "Beautiful Shore".

Bangui Windmills, Ilocos Norte 2015

My parents told me that we used to travel around Ilocos a lot, when I was young. Of course, I do not remember those days but our pictures are my only memories of it. Rap-Rap, on the other hand, lives 4-5 hours away from Ilocos Norte.

Paoay Church, Ilocos Norte 2015

What we really love about traveling in the northern part of the Luzon Island is the rich history of each place we visit. Before the Philippines became an independent country, there were many countries who attempted to conquer and rule in the Philippines. One of our many conquerors are the Spaniards. For three hundred years, Spain governed and influence the Philippines in so many ways. Our country is originally a Muslim country. When the Spaniards came, they introduced Christianity among the Filipino people. Thus, the Philippines became, majority, a Catholic country.

Paoay Church, Ilocos Norte
One of the historical churches in the Philippines is the Paoay Church or also known as the St. Augustine Church in Paoay (Spanish: Iglesia de San Agustín de Paoay). The church was completed in 1710. The Paoay Church is famously known for its magnificent architecture and unique design.

A three-storey coral stone bell tower stands a few meters away from the church. The bell tower served as an observation post in 1896 for the Katipuneros during the Philippine revolution against the Spaniards, and again by the Filipino guerillas during the Japanese occupation in World War II.
According to historians, the bell tower also served as a status symbol for the locals. The bell would ring more loudly and more times during the wedding of a prominent clan that it would during the wedding of the poor.
Portions of the church was damaged during the earthquakes in 1865 and 1885. During an excavation inside the church in 2000, a prehistoric human skeleton and fragmented ceramics were discovered and are now in display at the National Museum. Former president Ferdinand Marcos declared Paoay Church as a national treasure and is now included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Inside the Church
There were so many visitors around the Paoay Church, who were just like us, gazing upon the beauty of the structure and design by this historical place. They said that if you want your prayer to be answered, light up a white candle and your prayers will be answered.

Stand of White Candles
During our visit, the place was pretty crowded since its summer and everybody is on their vacation mode. Nevertheless, we managed to pose and get some pretty good photos. So, if you happen to visit the Philippines, don't forget to visit Ilocos Norte!

The Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco 2014

Growing up, I have always loved watching movies. I've watched several movies shot and filmed in San Francisco, California. Most of the time, at the beginning of the movie, they would show the Golden Gate Bridge. We are very lucky to have friends who lives in San Francisco, California who helped us and accompanied us throughout our whole stay. We arrived in San Francisco around eight o'clock in the morning. Our friends, Ira and Emil, picked us up at the airport. We love reuniting with our friends.

Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte Summer 2015

Ever since we went home in the Philippines and started working, Raphael and I looked forward to LONG WEEKENDS. Long weekends meant that we don't work from Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Monday due to holidays or significant events happening in our country or in the area where we're working. Last May 1st, we celebrated Labor Day!
Rap and I decided to join our family in Ilagan, Isabela Philippines on their road trip around northern part of the Luzon island. We took the bus (Victory Liner Bus around Quezon City) going to Ilagan, Isabela from Quezon City. It was a 10 hour bus ride! So grateful that our bus has a wifi installed on it.

Conservatory of Flowers, San Francisco

Our visit to the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco, California was short but lovely. The Conservatory of Flowers is by far the biggest botanical garden and greenhouse we have ever seen. The building house and feature different kinds of rare and exotic flowers and plants.
For all you botanical fans, this place should be one of your must-see places. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enter the building because it was closed during the time that we visited the place. However, we were able to see flowers planted outside and were able to take gorgeous pictures.

While I was walking around the place, I knew for a fact that I have seen this place in one of our favorite family movies. I was not sure what it was during that time but now, I clearly remembered. One of our favorite Robert Downey Jr. movies, the first Downey movie we've watched, Heart and Souls was filmed at the Conservatory of Flowers. What a wonderful experience to visit such an iconic place! Here are some of my favorite pictures:

Hundred Islands (Family Escapade 2015 Part I)

Holy Week in the Philippines is a big thing because, it says "LONG WEEKEND" all over it. Last April 2-4, 2015 was Rap and I's first Holy Week vacation after three long years of living outside the Philippines. Our family and extended family talked and discussed locations of where we can spend our vacation. We gathered so many ideas and suggestions. Luckily, we all agreed to spend our vacation in Alaminos and Bolinao cities. Both cities are located in the Pangasinan province (western area of the island of Luzon).

We travelled by land. It took us about 5 to 6 hours to get to our vacation house, from Quezon City. We stayed at Veronica Haus Transient House for 2 days and 2 nights. The owner of the house, Veronica, is such a nice and accommodating lady.
The house has 3 bedrooms (2 large rooms and 1 small room), 3 bathrooms, 2 dining tables, 2 cooking area, veranda on the second floor, grill area, and a spacious sala. We wished that we had 3 large bedrooms good enough to accommodate 5 families but, we were grateful to even get a vacation house 2 weeks before the long weekend vacation. If you want to visit the Hundred Islands and you're looking for a place to stay, please contact Veronica Hauschild here 09209463915.

The following day, we visited the famous "Hundred Islands". We went on a boat ride going to one of the islands. Veronica provided two large boats for us (Php 2000.00/large boat). She also provided vests (Php 50.00/vest). Note that wearing a vest is a must when riding a boat going to Hundred Islands. No exceptions! I also rented snorkeling gears for Raphael and I for Php 250.00 each.

Our tour guide brought us to Romulo island. We got there really early and so, it was not really crowded unlike the other islands. We brought food and water with us so that we won't have to buy at the island stores. We swam, took gorgeous pictures, tried to build a sand castle, and had a great and amazing time with our family. Two of our family members got engaged (Congrats Nikki and Marvin)!

Well, I'd like to say that the highlight of our island hopping event would be Marvin's proposal. However, our "getting stung by a jelly fish" experience got the number #1 spot! Sorry Marvs and Nikki (LOL :D). I never really imagined myself getting stung by a jellyfish until that moment. It felt like I was being bitten by 1000++ red ants. Thank you to our very Pinoy family, we immediately got some island remedy. NOPE, nobody peed on us (thank goodness)! Tita Tina got some vinegar and gave it to Camile, Rap and I to pour on the affected area. It felt good at that specific moment but, the pain was still there. Swimming Tip #1: Avoid getting stung by a jellyfish; Stay away from small boats arriving near the shore.

After all the island fun, island hopping was next on our to-do list. We went on a boat ride and saw Monkey island, Marcos island, and the scariest of them all, the "Paniki" island (in english: the BAT island). Our tour guide dropped us off at Governor's island wherein all the different activities are happening such us kayaking, zip lining, and hiking. Most of us decided to try the zip line activity. We paid Php 250.00 for the island to island ride. If you want to buy your picture, you have to pay for another Php 250.00.

The hike all the way to the top of the Governor's island was exhausting. I literally had a hard time catching my breath. On the other hand, the hike was worth it because we got to see the amazing view of the Hundred Islands. We were already prepped for our very first zip line course and were all ready to experience the ride. When it was my turn, I got so nervous and scared that I was thinking of not doing it anymore. The worker did not allow Rap and I to go together because we were too heavy. Camile was kind enough to ride along with me since, there was no way that I would go down by myself. The view was amazing, though I shouted almost the whole time. I had a great time watching my husband and brothers go down the zip line. I knew that we all had a great first time. I am just lucky to have experienced it with them.

We ended our Hundred Islands Adventure with a nice and relaxing boat ride going to the port. Overall, it was a great family activity. We all enjoyed the sights and the activities we did. Some of us came back engaged, some of us came back wounded (lol), some of us came back tired and sleepy, but the important part of the whole day is that we came back with happy and full hearts. We had an amazing time experiencing a part of our beloved country. #itsMoreFunInThePhilippines

Disneyland Resort Park "MUST's"

Our previous post is about our friendly tips to help you make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. Now, its time to share Rap and Pateet's ---> MUST's!!! :)

We bought a 1-day park hopper ticket. We got to visit two parks in one day, which was not enough. :( With a 1-day park hopper ticket, you get to explore Disneyland Park and California Adventure Park as many times as you want for one whole day. Just a heads up, Disneyland Resort Park is divided into eight areas which are Main Street U.S.A., Frontierland, Adventureland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, New Orleans Square, Tommorowland, and Mickey's Toontown. I bet you're wondering how we got to walk around and see all 8 areas in 1 day :) ----> It's called Planning and Teamwork! LOL!

Anyway, let us share to you our 8 "MUST's" in Disneyland Resort Park.

1. Mickey Mouse Ears

If its your first time to visit Disneyland, I have to convince you to buy a Mickey Mouse Ears headband. There are so many unique and creative designs of the Mickey Mouse Ears headband. Some designs are patterned after Minnie Mouse, some are patterned after animals, some are designed based on the occasion your celebrating like weddings, bridal shower, or birthday, and some have colorful designs. I suggest that you pick an ear that best describes you.

In my case, my best friend in college, ViJohn bought me my Mickey Mouse Ears when he did his internship in Disneyland and that is why my ears are very special because it reminds me of how much I am blessed to have a friend like him.

2.  Take a picture in front of Disneyland

Taking your picture in front of Disneyland is going to be a challenge because a lot of people wants their picture taken in front, as well. Here's our tip to you: NEVER MIND :D Just go there and take pictures!!! :) Ask a Disneyland worker to take your picture, they would gladly do it for you.

Rap and I with Mickey Mouse

3. Visit Mickey's Toontown

One of the reasons why we woke up very early, is because we (more like "I") wanted to be the first ones to line up at Mickey's Toontown. However, when we got there, it was still closed. We had to wait for two hours to meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and other characters. Good thing we were patient and we waited because if we decided we don't want to wait, we would have waited for hours before meeting Mickey Mouse.

When I got to hug Mickey Mouse for the very first time, I told him, "I waited for 13 years to finally be able to hug you in person." It was a very fulfilling and emotional moment to have finally hug and meet one of the characters who have influenced my life. It was a loooooong wait, but definitely WORTH IT! Come, meet Mickey and his friends at Mickey's Toontown! :)

In front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle :D
4. Sleeping Beauty's Castle

I believe it is already obvious that everybody wants a picture in front of the Sleeping Beauty's Castle. The castle is the very first thing that you'll see before watching a Disney movie. Right? :) Before you enter Fantasyland, you will have to walk through the castle and leave reality for a while to experience fantasy like you've never experienced it before.

Our game plan that day was to visit Fantasyland first. We walked through the castle and entered Fantasyland and all I can say is that "It was WONDERFUL!" We felt like we entered in a different world and we felt good! We saw different characters and saw awesome rides. We wanted to try the Mad Tea Party ride but then we realized we would have to deal with a lot of fussy and excited kids. We did went to the "Matterhorn Bobsleds" ride! One word to describe it, A-W-E-S-O-M-E! For a first timer, the bobsleds were amazing. We also went to the "It's A Small World" boat ride. We didn't have enough time to go on more rides because of the limited time we had. We even wanted to go and meet Tinkerbell at the Pixie Hollow area but the line was too long and the wait was 45 minutes. I was heartbroken! Nevertheless, we had a good time walking around Fantasyland.

With the great, Thor <3
5. Meet and Greet Thor

Rap was very generous to give Disneyland as one of his birthday gifts to me. At first, I wasn't really sure if he's going to like the place but, it turned out he did! Special thanks to the great innovations and wonders of Tomorrowland. This specific play area of Disneyland caters to the great inventions of today such as the xbox and video games. We also saw some of the Iron Man Robots. By just looking at Rap's handsome face, I knew for a fact that he was very very happy.

One of the highlights of our Tomorrowland adventure was our meet and greet with Thor. Raphael loves the movie Thor and he enjoyed looking at the stuff that they used in the movie. We also saw Loki's helmet and stick (hahaha yeah, laugh at me because I don't know what that is!). I know its the stick that he used to brainwash Hawk Eye in the Avengers movie. Yeah, that's it! To be able to meet Thor, we had to be transported to his world via.....GUESS!!!! Yeah you're right! Via Smoke Machine :) Can you believe that?! I should buy those things!

Thor was friendly and accomodating. He is very handsome too! We got our turn to take a picture with him. He let Rap hold his "SPECIAL" hammer and he "MADE" me hold his muscles! hahaha Awkward???? hahaha It was a fun experience for the both of us. I hope you get to meet him too, when you visit Tomorrowland! :)

Going to Indiana Jones Ride
6. Indiana Jones Adventure Ride

Spending a day in Disneyland will never be enough and that is why the "Indiana Jones Adventure" ride was definitely on our list of rides. This cool ride can be found in Adventureland area. Walking around Adventureland made me feel like I was in Hawaii again because of the Tiki statues that surrounds the area. This part of Disneyland gives you a feel of the island life with all the drumming and ukulele going on. Although we didn't get to eat at one of the restaurants there, we were glad that it reminded us of our island life.

Anyway, the Indiana Jones Adventure Ride will take you to the adventures of Indiana Jones. You will hop to a box train ride and you will go around and witness spooky, creepy, and nerve wracking adventures of Indiana. I won't share the details so that I won't spoil the fun for you guys. Definitely, this ride is one of the coolest rides we've been too, and we're happy that we listened to our friends' advice.

Posing in front of the Disneyland Fire Department
7. Visit the Disneyland Fire Station

When Walt Disney was still alive, he visits the park often. They said that when you pass by the fire station at Main Street U.S.A. and the light is on, Walt Disney is there in his office. When he passed away, Disneyland decided to never close the light so that will people remember the man who made all of it possible. When we visited Disneyland, I made sure we pay our respects to the man who made our childhood magical.

Rapunzel dancing during the Mickey's Soundsational Parade
8. Mickey's Soundsational Parade

We visited Disneyland on a weekday and that is why we never got to see fireworks. Nevertheless, we got to watch the Mickey's Soundsational Parade. We positioned ourselves at Main Street U.S.A. circle so that we get a good view of the parade. We saw a looooooot Disney Characters dancing, singing, and waving at us! We saw Elsa, Anna, Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, Simba, Ariel, and a loooooot more.

We had a great time dancing and singing with them. I was crying while watching them because everything that I dreamed of, was right in front of me! I am soooo happy for this opportunity to visit this amazing place. I pray and hope that you, whoever you are, get the chance to visit the original Disneyland Park. Dreams do come true!!!

The Happiest Place On Earth

The title itself says it all, right? If you know me really well, then you'd know that I am Disney fanatic! Yes, I love Disney. As a young girl, I remember watching Disney movies over and over again. My grandfather, Papito, has a lot of Disney BETAMax tapes (this was before VHS, DVD, CD, and advanced technology were invented) and he would encourage us to watch Snow White, Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, and a lot more. I have to say that he started this addiction.

Well, after waiting for many years.... :) I was finally able to visit this magical place with my best friend, my husband. I have vowed not to visit any Disneyland Parks, unless, I have visited the original and historic Disneyland at Anaheim, California. You may ask, "Why?" Well, the Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California was the only park that Walt Disney (the man who started it all) ever graced his presence with. That is why I decided to visit the original park first before visiting the other parks.

Rap and I bought the 1-day park hopper ticket so we could visit Disneyland Park and California Adventure Park. One day was not enough to visit the two parks but we made sure that were able to visit the places we want to see. Sooooooo… FIRST TIMERS!!! Here are some of our tips to you…

Me..super excited to explore Disneyland for the first time!
1. Book your tickets EARLY

Getting your tickets way ahead of your trip will save you a whole lot of time and energy. Personally, I didn't like the idea of lining up in front of the ticket booth to buy our tickets. Just to give you an idea, we bought our tickets around April and we went to Disneyland last September of this year. Also, when you buy your tickets early, you might get a chance to avail a good discount!!! Getting your tickets early will not only save you time, but will also save you money! Good deal, right?

So hard to take our photos... LOL
2. Wake up early so you can get to the park before everybody else does.

Disneyland gets crowded all the time, so arriving at the park early will allow you to explore rides and see some Disney characters without having to wait in the line for a loooooong time. Hubby and I got up early and arrived at the park around 8:00 in the morning. We were so lucky to experience some of the amazing rides without having to fall in line for a loooooong time! :)

cute!!!
3. Wear comfortable clothes

My original plan was to dress up in a modern Disney costume with Rap. However, our friends who have already visited Disneyland told us to wear comfortable clothes because we will be doing a lot of walking. We are soooo glad we listened to them! During our disney visit, the weather was dry and hot. I can't imagine what will happen to us if we decided to wear our modern disney costumes.
However, remember to always walk in style! Though we didn't get to wear costumes, we made sure we were still matching. :) <3

Having a great time!
4.  Bring water and snacks

Walking around the park and going on rides can be very exhausting. Bringing your own water will help you quench your thirst and also help you save money. LOL! You don't want to get dehydrated while in Disneyland, don't you? :) On the other hand, bringing small snacks will also be helpful in case you get hungry while waiting in the line or just seating around.

Goofing around with Goofy!!! <3
5. Get your “1st Time Visit Pin”

When you enter the park, find the nearest gift shop and get your "1st Time Visit Pin". You don't have to pay for it because its FREE!!! :) They also have different pins for different occasions like birthday, engagement, wedding, and anniversary.

ME!! flaunting my pin :D
6. Get the park maps

You don't have to worry about finding places you want to go too because they give park maps along with the schedule of the shows and parades during that day.
Months before we went to Disneyland, I downloaded the park maps and researched events, shows, and rides that we must see. The advantage of doing this was that we were able to highlight areas and rides that we want to see. Rap and I also got to prepare a plan on how we will get to visit all the areas of the park within the day. It really helped us to find our way around the park knowing that we already have an idea where to go. :)

With the boy that never grows old, PETER PAN!!! :D
7. Don’t forget to bring you camera

The one thing that you shouldn't forget to bring while visiting Disneyland is a camera. You don't have to bring a fancy camera to be able to take pictures around the park because a compact camera will do. If you think that you didn't like the pictures you took, do not fret!!! There are photographers around the park that will be happy to take your photos. The photographers will hand you a card which they will use to scan every single time they take your photo. You will hand your card at the photo booth and then you will get to choose which photo you'd like to buy. :))))
On the other hand, If you prefer using your camera to take pictures of you and your loved ones. You can ask the photographers and disney workers to take your pictures. They are all very accommodating and nice, and so you won't have a hard time around Disneyland.

With dear Walt and Mickey :D
8. Have F-U-N

The important thing that you shouldn't forget is to have F-U-N. Create lasting memories with your family. One of my favorite moments in Disneyland was holding the hand of my favorite person in the world while making our dreams come true. As the famous saying goes, "Life is not about the number of breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away."

Have a MAGICAL visit to you and your family!!!!! :)

Downtown Disney 2014

The night before we went to Disneyland and California Adventure our friends visited us and took us out for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe around Downtown Disney. Note: If you're visiting Disneyland, this is a great place to walk around as well.
We had a great time at the unique restaurant filled with animals, fishes, and forest scenery. We got the best seats in the cafe. We were seated in front of elephants. Thanks to our friends, Ate Liezel and Jezreel Lising, we got to experience a jungle-like dinner.

After dinner, we walked around Downtown Disney and we gazed upon the beautiful scenery. We took pictures with some disney characters. When we got to the end of Downtown Disney, I recognized the entrance gates of the two theme parks. I jumped for joy and cried because I finally am at Disneyland. I have dreamed about Disneyland so many times and have hoped that one day I will be able to go and visit this magical place. That one day was September 4, 2014.

First picture at Disneyland!!!
My heart was filled with joy and gratitude. I have waited long enough and finally I was there, standing and gazing upon its magical beauty. Of course, it was also a night filled with photo-ops. Thanks to Jet's monopod, we were able to take group photos! :D

Los Angeles, California Day 2 "Universal Studios Hollywood"

We spent our 2nd day in LA at the Universal Studios Hollywood. When we were planning our trip, going to Universal Studios Hollywood was not included in the plan. We just wanted to spend two days at Disneyland have fun there. However, when I looked at their website, I saw Raphael's favorite movies and in an instant I knew that he will love it. Guess whaaaaat?! He loved our Universal Studios Hollywood experience so much. He was so happy and it made him feel like a kid again. Here is how our 2nd day went....

We went around 11:30am at the Universal Studios Hollywood. We purchased our tickets in front of the theme park. We only bought a 1-day pass ticket hoping that the waiting period won't be long so that we will be able to experience all the rides. We were so excited when we entered the theme park. We saw some familiar characters inside like scooby doo, minions, megatron, optimus prime and more.

The first ride we went too is the studio tram. The tram was the best behind-the-scenes experience we've ever had. We had so much looking at the studios and locations that were used to shoot movies. We experienced being on a collapsing bridge. We also got the chance to be inside the King Kong 3d were in its like we were a part of the movie scene. I will save that information for you to find out! We saw special effects like how they make a set with rain and flood. There were also sets that were made to make a movie feel like its in Europe or country. We also got the chance to experience a set were in we were stuck in a subway and the things are going out of control. I won't say anything about it but it was soooooo amazing! We had so much fun! There were a lot to see and a lot to find out. If you are going to Universal Studios Hollywood, you have to go to this ride first! Here are some of our pictures...

We went next to the Shrek 3d ride. We were given 3d glasses to use during the ride. We can't take photos or videos during the ride. We went to a theater and sat down in a moving chair. I won't tell what  you will see but all I can say is it was such a fun ride to be in it. The 3d animation was absolutely impressive.

Rap and I went down to the Lower lot of the theme park and started our adventure with Transformers 3D. Our prayers were answered because the line was not too long. We only waited for 5 minutes and we got into the ride that fast. Raphael enjoyed the ride so much because its 3D and its transformers. When we got inside the ride, we buckled our seat belts and we went to an amazing ride. IT WAS AMAZING that we labeled the Transformers 3D as our favorite ride at the Universal Studios Hollywood. The animation made everything cool and amazing because we really felt like we were part of the autobots versus decepticons war. We loved it so much and we were so happy we went on that ride. Here are some of the after photos since we were not allowed to take pictures and videos.

The next ride we went too is the "The Mummy Revenge". We were required to check in our bag inside the lockers. I had a feeling that it will be a scary ride.
We are so lucky that the line was not long and we were able to go inside the ride immediately. While we were waiting, the couple next to us made us feel uncomfortable because they were kissing and showing too much affection. Ooookaaay!!! This is just a suggestion for all the showy couples out there (looool!!!!). Don't think that when you kiss in public that people don't look and not really care because the truth is we feel really uncomfortable with you kissing and doing too much. There are approriate places and there is a right time to do that.

Anyway!!!! The mummy ride was so cool! Though we didn't see anything, we got really scared because we didn't know what to expect. The ride was so amazing but it was too short and we wanted more! Lol!!!

After the mummy ride, we got hungry but we both decided to do another ride. We looked at each other and we both knew that were going for the "Jurassic Park" ride. We were warned that were going to get wet. However, I didn't get the instructions ride. My understanding was that if you ride in front that's the only time you're going to get wet. When we sat down for the ride, we got wet immediately. The big bonus of the whole ride is that we got really wet!!!!! It's like we did the ice bucket challenge!!!!! Here are the pictures...

We ate Panda Express for lunch since its the first restaurant we saw. After a very delicious lunch, we went directly to the Minion Mayhem ride because I looooove Minions.

When we got to the ride, we met Gru!!!!!!! We were so happy to see Gru, Dave and Stuart. I love them!

The Minion Mayhem ride was so amazing! The ride was made in 3D. The Minion Mayhem 3D ride is new and so if you get to visit the Universal Studios you should go try it. After all the rides we've been through, we got tired walking and so we decided to watch the special effects show. We loved it. The emcees were funny and very lively. The special effects were amazing. .

Overall, we were so happy and grateful that we were able to go to Universal Studios Hollywood. I loved every moment we had in there. I look at my husband every single time and I can't help but cry because of happiness inside my heart. Raphael enjoyed the experience and he looked like a kid who tasted a lollipop for the first time. We really enjoyed our visit and were looking forward to go back with our family and friends. Thank you Universal Studios Hollywood for a great experience.
