Why Young Married Couples Should Travel Often

We love to travel and we would love to do it as often as we can. Traveling gives us the opportunity to relax, enjoy, and get to know each other. When we got married almost four years ago, we didn't really thought about the places we wanted to see or visit. We were more concerned with saving money for our future needs and current bills to pay. As the years passed by, the need to travel increased as we both needed that T-I-M-E O-U-T!

That occasional T-I-M-E O-U-T to wander, strengthened our marriage as we learned to grow with each other. Yes, there were a lot of differences and things we need to get used to. But, traveling allowed us to appreciate each other more and more. Also, it made me realized that I married a good travel buddy. You know why? Its because with Raphael, we don't forget anything. He is such a good packer. He knows how to pack essentials and necessities and he never misses anything. How awesome is that? Lol!

You see wandering with each other unlocks tiny and exciting new things about each other.

Traveling also gives us the opportunity to talk more with each other. Of course, with our era today, mobile usage dramatically increases every year. Thus, taking most of our valuable time. Rap and I work for 9-10 hours per day. Our travel to and from work is around 4-5 hours. We get to sleep and prepare for work for around 7-8 hours. This routine leaves us around 1-2 hours to talk to each other everyday, including cooking and preparing our dinner.

This is one of the main reasons why we make sure that we talk stories with each other every single time we travel because we don't have the luxury to do it everyday. Going on a vacation is a great way for couples to listen and to understand one another. Communication is the number one essential tool in making marriages work. If we don't communicate, we will fail to understand one another.

Another reason why we love traveling so much is because it gives us a whole new perspective about life. We aren't the adventure-thrill-seeker type of couple. The scenery, food, and the time we have together, for us, that is all that matters. We don't mind if don't have matching outfits or whatever. Its the feeling we feel every single time we travel. THAT, makes all difference.

Gaining new perspectives helped us a lot as we go about and deal with the challenges of life. Every time we go on an adventure, we never looked at life the same way again. Ever!

Life isn't supposed to be just endured but, life must also be enjoyed. If you got married young, like we did, take the time off to see new places with your other half. We promise you that this will only not make you grow closer with each other but, it will also help strengthen the foundation of your marriage as you strive to make your marriage successful.

There is no such thing as a perfect marriage. Marriage is something you work on everyday. It is not an overnight success but, a lifetime process of caring, loving, and appreciating one another. So, if ever life is getting a bit of difficult. Go out and see new places. Plan a trip that will help you both lift one another.

We pray for the success of your marriage. Just like you, we are excited to grow old with one another and learn more about one another.
