| Overlooking the Pacific Ocean at the Kualoa Mountains |
A little history about this amazing place! During the ancient time in Hawaii, Kualoa was considered as one of the most sacred places on Oahu, Hawaii. The reason behind this was because kings live in Kualoa and treats it as their place of refuge and sanctuary. They call this place their pu'uhonua because this is also the place where they do their trainings. Our tour guide was great and that is why this part of his tour, I remembered so well.
The movie sites tour is a bus tour where the driver (also your tour guide) takes you up to the mountains to see the different sites where famous movies where filmed. Movies like Jurassic Park, 50 first dates, Mighty Joe Young, and Pearl Harbor were filmed in this great place. While looking around the movie sites, we also got the chance to see sites where TV series were filmed.
Probably, my favorite part in our tour was going up to the mountains and looking at the great view of the Pacific Ocean. I was speechless and I just felt very grateful to be living here in Hawaii. If you are planning to come and visit Hawaii, make time to visit their place. Here is their website --> Kualoa Ranch! They also have different activities and tours. If your coming with your friends and family, this is a must-see place and you'll never regret it.
