Family Escapade Part 2 (Bolinao, Pangasinan "Enchanted Cave")

   Here it is, FINALLY!! My second blogpost about our Family Escapade in Pangasinan (this was last April, I'm so sorry for the late post :D). We spent our second day at Bolinao, Pangasinan. It took us about an hour to reach Bolinao coming from Alaminos. We stayed and rested at Coco's Beach Resort. The view of the sea was magnificent and breathtaking. I loved every single minute of our experience there.

   The sun was out shining really bright but, it didn't hinder us from experiencing the wonderful Bolinao Beach. I would advise tourists who would be visiting the Bolinao Beach at Coco's Resort to bring reef shoes, if possible. Why? BECAUSE you can walk around the the beach and even if your a quarter mile away from the shore, the height of the water will not reach your waist. Such an amazing sight! We feel so blessed to be able to witness God's creation and experience it fully.

  Bolinao, Pangasinan is not only known for their beaches but, also their caves. We had three caves to choose from and we some of us decided to visit the famous Enchanted Cave. We drove at least 5-7 minutes to the site from Coco's Beach Resort. There is an entrance fee that you need to pay before entering the premises. Also, if you brought a car along with you, you have to pay for the parking fee as well.

   We haven't really seen a lot of images of the Enchanted Cave in Google so, its a surprise for everybody. We rented life vests for safety purposes. We hiked a little bit and had to enter a not-so-secret passage which led us to the cave. You can watch the video posted below about our experience.

   It was bit dark inside the cave (well, D-U-H! Its a cave, its suppose to be dark!). There were lights around and so, we were able to see. I suggest that you don't bring important stuff inside the cave because there are no lockers inside. An underwater camera is a must, if you love going to water adventures like. You can bring a 100pesos for emergency purposes but everything else, you can leave inside your car tucked properly and safely.

   The water was cold and warm at the same time. We got sun burned from our activity the day before and so, the cave water was such a great relief for me the most! The cave wasn't to crowded at all. We played around and swam our hearts out. The water was so relaxing that it took all our stress away. The cave was a great activity after all the exhausting adventures we had from the beach.

   I say to you my friends. Stop making excuses about not traveling. Stop saving money for material things that you don't need. Live your life to the fullest. Invest on memories and not gadgets. Memories and your experiences are the only things you will be able to bring in heaven. So, I suggest go and make great memories! Until our next adventure!
