Earlier this year we moved into my (Pateet) parents' apartment to ease our financial burden a little bit since we were just starting to get a hold off the life here in the Philippines. We all know how starting over in a new place is never easy. We are so grateful for our parents' guidance and support that have helped us manage our new lives here in the Philippines.
We made sure that we fulfilled our 2015 motto which is "Live In The Moment" by traveling to different places and trying out new things. We learned about different things and its origin. We saw places and learned about its history. We met friends along our adventures. Our relationship became stronger and better.
As I've mentioned earlier, a bump on the road is always a part of our journey called life. We thought that our lives were already good and amazing and that nothing could ever change it, but we were wrong. Our family was immensely tested this year. We lost friends that I've never imagined that we will lose. It was disheartening, but I know that there is a bigger purpose to everything that have happened this year.
In the middle of the year, we moved into a new ward and stake. We are now attending the Church Service of the Las PiƱas 3rd Ward. I was nervous to attend a new ward because I was afraid to get out of our comfort zone. As we attend their Church Service every single Sunday, we have come to realize that God wanted us to be there. He wanted us to be part of that ward.
We have met amazing brothers and sisters that have strengthened and lightened up our souls. We are being guided by a great Bishop who see through our potentials as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We were given callings to teach Sunday School to our Married Group and Young Single Adults. I was newly called as the Ward Music Director. Its an honor and privilege to serve our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ.

2015 taught us so much about family, friendship, and character. Most of all, 2015 taught us the importance of developing a strong relationship with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I can't imagine how our lives would have turned out if we chose differently. This year we have learned to embrace the people and things that we've gained. We have also learned to let go of all our losses and hope that someday. we'll find our way back to them.
Overall, this year was one heck of a ride that I wouldn't trade for anything else. We have learned to love more, to travel more, to laugh more, to pray more, to listen more, and to serve more, We know that 2016 will help us to become better. We love you all! See you next year loves. :D
