ALIBIJABAN ISLAND will always be one of our favorite places in the Philippines. During the Holy Week break, together with our friends, we visited the beautiful island of Alibijaban. Honestly, we've never heard of this island before but, after searching it on google, we immediately fell in love with its mysterious and appealing beauty. The simplicity of this island made us want to live there. This island will encourage you to embrace its way of life.

HOW TO CLEAR YOUR ACNE IN 3 DAYS
I'm no beauty expert but, you can take my word for this. I have FINALLY found the perfect cure for my Acne Prone Skin. When I entered the puberty age, my battle with acne started. I thought I could save my face by popping my zit but, I was proven wrong. Never ever touch your pimple because it will only make it worse. I've tried so many products and nothing worked. Nonetheless, I didn't stopped trying. Alas! I found the best cure for my acne problems.
Now, I need to buy a new one. I will run out soon! |

2017: Change is Coming
W-O-W! Year 2016 was definitely a tough year for us. We had a rough start but, I am glad we finished strong. Looking back, we sure did learn a lot and, when I say "a lot"...I mean "A LOOOOOT".

Why Young Married Couples Should Travel Often
We love to travel and we would love to do it as often as we can. Traveling gives us the opportunity to relax, enjoy, and get to know each other. When we got married almost four years ago, we didn't really thought about the places we wanted to see or visit. We were more concerned with saving money for our future needs and current bills to pay. As the years passed by, the need to travel increased as we both needed that T-I-M-E O-U-T!

No To Quarter Life Crisis
I am so happy I turned 25 this month. I can't fully express the gratitude and love that I feel right now. The past year I have been dreading the so called Quarter Life Crisis. I didn't want to feel it. I didn't want to be the 25 year old woman that doesn't have any idea with what she wants to do with her life. Yes! I did some bucket list of things I want to do in life. The closer I get to my birthday the more I dread to finish the things I need to do. Then, I started to realized some important things in life, that I want to share with all of you.
1. Start Living N.O.W
I was so scared that I might not be able to finish my bucket list. Then, I realized that same thing goes with life. We dread too much about the future like getting a house, car, or things that we want to acquire. Because of these, we just end up not enjoying life as it is the moment. I have heard stories of people regretting not being able to do and experience new things when they have the chance to and end up just feeling sorry because they aren't capable to do so.
Start Living NOW! Don't wait until your 30 to regret more things. Now is the time to take on challenges, risks, adventures, and new beginnings.

2. Value The People Who Were Always There For You
Always be grateful for the people who have been with you through it all. Show gratitude by paying them compliments, reciprocating their love, and just being there for them. Life is too short so, while you have the chance to do it, I suggest, do it every single day.
3. Choose To Be Grateful
I believe it was President Uchtdorf who have talked about choosing to be grateful no matter what the circumstances are, in an LDS General Conference Talk. Prior to turning 25, Heavenly Father did really test my faith and trust in Him. He allowed me to fall so hard that it almost broke me. It was one of those trials that I never expected to come. Still, it was because I trusted Him that I am where I am right now.
No matter how hard I cried and murmured about the circumstance we were in a few days before my birthday, I am still very very grateful because He blessed me with so much wisdom, knowledge, and love.
Soooooooo!!!! None of that Quarter Life Crisis for me. I am so grateful for another year of new beginnings, challenges, opportunities, risks, and life. Happy Birthday to me!!!!!!

Things I Learned at 24
Hello! It has been so long since I last wrote in our blog and I felt kinda guilty because I took more time fixing my personal blog than this one. I have finally decided to let go of my own blog and focus on "US" more. Geez! I am turning 25 tomorrow and I can't believe that time flew by just like that.
Okay, so the past year has been difficult for me (personally, socially, emotionally, and physically). I don't need to go into details with that but, I have learned a lot the past year and I would love to share them all with you.
1. Be good to people, even when they have wronged you.
My husband's cousin shared this with me. She shared to me how she was bullied when she was younger and how horrible and traumatic that experience was to her. She promised herself that she would not want anyone to feel the way she did and that is why she will always choose to be good and kind to people.
Because we are humans, we have the innate urge to always get even. Come to think of it, getting even doesn't make us a better person nor does it make us feel better about ourselves. Its easier said than done but, always choosing to forgive will allow us to move forward and be better.
2. Don't be hard on yourself.
Allow yourself to make mistakes and learn from it. Don't bring yourself down just because you're having a hard time accepting the fact that we all make mistakes. No one is exempted. Be patient with yourself. Grow with life. Take one step at a time.
3. Live life to the fullest.
I always worry sooooo much about the future that I forget the present. Then, I would notice that days and months have already passed by. Suddenly, I would realized that I have missed opportunities. Its sad when you think about it but, LESSON LEARNED!!! Live today as much as you would live for the future.

Hapag Vicentico's
For our first summer activity, there were no swimming involved because a friend visited me (you know what I mean!). Lol! So, we decided to eat our hearts out. With my line of work, I didn't get to enjoy the Holy Week because I was working until Saturday morning. Fortunately, I was allowed to leave early. I began searching for places to-be at in Cabanatuan City. Thanks to the "When In Manila" website we found great places to try out. One of our to-see places is the famous Hapag Vicentico's Restaurant. They gained popularity for serving fresh and authentic Filipino dishes.

Our 2015 was a year of gains and losses. Its amazing how 2015 have greatly changed our lives significantly. Just like everybody else, we hoped and wanted a smooth sailing year but, we all know that a bump on the road is necessary to make life a bit challenging for us.

Cebu, Philippines 2015 Trip Day 1
Our Cebu trip was short but sweeeet! <3 Rap and I surprised my dad with a trip to Cebu for his 50th birthday. We purchased the tickets 3 months before our actual travel date. Well, things didn't go the way we have planned it because we were late for our flight. &!!!^&&(((@@@ Traffic! Anyway, we had our flights re-booked. We made it to Cebu! We stayed at the Cebu Philippines Temple Patron Housing for our first night.
We visited the Cebu Philippines Temple to start our first epic day in Cebu. It was actually our first time to visit the temple in Cebu and the beauty and magnificence of the temple filled our hearts with so much joy and love. What better way to start our birthday celebration than to visit the House of the Lord. We met some church members from Davao Mission who knew my brother, Elder Renz Coronel. It was nice to hear such kind words about our dear Elder Coronel.
After our Cebu Temple visit, we went straight to Marco Polo Cebu Hotel. The Marco Polo workers were so lovely and accommodating. Special thanks to our wonderful Tita Neneng Osumo who made sure that we get a lovely and cozy room.
After settling in our room, we went to find Rico's Lechon Cebu because they all said we can find the best lechon cebu there. Annnnnnnnd....They were all right! We ordered the regular and spicy lechon cebu. The lechon was very tasty and was cooked perfectly. The spicy lechon cebu brought the house down because of its rich spicy flavor. We didn't miss a single bite of the lechon plates we ordered. I actually wanted mooooore but my tummy needed a rest.
If you're planning on visiting Cebu and tasting the lechon, don't forget to drop by Rico's Lechon in Acacia. You won't regret it. You'll even want more.

Camp John Hay, Baguio City 2015
As a family tradition, Baguio will always be our hotspot when summer hits the Philippines. The Summer Capital of the Philippines is the "go to" place of almost everyone who lives in Luzon. The cold climate of the city relieves the heat brought by the tropical weather. During our visit with Rap's family last summer, we only had one day to visit Baguio and we decided to stay at Camp John Hay since it caters to activities such as paintball fight, zip lining, family picnic, camping and so much more.
